| The Avalanche organization has decided not to field a Junior team for the 2005-2006 season. We will be fielding a Midget AAA 18 under team which includes all players with an 87 birth year and younger. This team will be designed to push our midget age players so they can ready themselves for the jump to either Junior hockey or prep school. The players selected will have the opportunity to train through the spring and summer off ice in our new training facility here at the Ice House. This team will still participate in various showcase tournaments as well as the highly competitive Atlantic Youth Hockey League. In addition, we plan on setting up games with different prep schools in order to expose the players to the many prep school programs that exist throughout New England. We hope you will take advantage of this highly competitive and motivated program. | |
