Hockey Department

IHAHL - Ice House Adult Hockey League logo 1.png

The Ice House Adult League is designed to provide a safe and sportsmanlike environment in which hockey players of all abilities can enjoy the competition and camaraderie of organized hockey.  Our league, for players 18 and over, is split into 8 divisions to ensure a level playing environment for everyone.  Our top Division features some of the area's best adult hockey players, while our Division 8 provides an avenue for beginner players to hone their skills.

Spring/Summer
2024

  • ​​16 Regular Season Games

  • Playoffs:

    • top 50% of teams in each division qualify for playoffs

  • Team Fee: $6750

  • Season Length:

    • April 8 - August 28 (Summer Break: July 2 - July 7)

  • 8-14 Teams Per Division (divisions may be split in an attempt to create competitive balance)

    • Instant stats available online immediately following each game

  • Individual Applicant:

  • All players must be at least 18 years old

  • Schedules will be on the website by March 29th

    • *Smythe Division rosters cannot include players who play on a higher division Ice House Adult League team

  • Adult League rules are listed on our website

*it may be necessary for some divisions to play on a secondary night​

Registration Dates & Procedures for Team Entries

  • February 6

  • February 21 

    • ​Teams that pay in full by FEBRUARY 21st are entitled to 2 FREE practices. Once registration with full payment is received, you will be emailed available practice dates/times. (These free practices are only available between March 25 – April 7, first come/first served)

  • March 11

    • ​Registration Portal Closes - or when the league is full, whichever comes first. The league is typically full before the registration deadline.

  • March 25​

    • Bart will email Team captains a USERNAME and PASSWORD to input and manage your team roster online. You will be required to enter each player’s name, jersey #, position, date of birth, and email address. (YOUR ROSTER MUST BE ADDED TO THE WEBSITE BY APRIL 2)

    • Please contact Bart (bartcrum.icehousenj@gmail.com) if you have questions about roster management.

    • Teams must have matching jerseys with unique numbers.

  • MARCH 29​

    • Schedules are available on the website.

    • All players must be registered with USA Hockey (register at membership.usahockey.com)

    • Team Coordinators must email Eileen (elonergan.icehouse@gmail.com) an excel spreadsheet with each player’s name and USAH confirmation number for the 23-24 season. Each player on the roster must be listed. (Rosters are limited to 18 skaters and two goalies).

  • APRIL 8​

    • Regular season play begins​.

  • may 20​

    • Remaining balances are due.​

  • june 9

    • Rosters are frozen.
