The North Jersey Avalanche is a nationally ranked hockey organization under the guidance of Dan May, Ice House Hockey Director, and recipient of the prestigious Dr. John J. McMullen Service Award, who has coached every level from Mite to semi pro over the past 40 years. Dan has managed programs that have developed thousands of players from the tri-state area; many of these players have gone on to successful college and professional careers. The Avalanche host close to 40 travel hockey teams at a variety of levels, both Tier I and Tier II.
